Not a fancy cake, but it seemed to me a great fun family Christmas cake.

Ohh, that looks nice and simple. I've never really looked at Christmas cakes becuase we are always too into Grandma's Pumpkin Pie for anyone to want cake.

I wish I had a picture of the nicest traditional yule log cake I saw. Meringue mushrooms and fondant woodland creatures, snow on the log and ground - so cute!
